About Men of Refuge
Florida-based Men of Refuge empowers high-caliber men through 1-on-1 and group coaching, guiding them toward self-mastery, meaningful connections, and a life of purpose and legacy. Founder Fabiano Mannino needed an easy-to-use tool to help design the content for his online community and he chose to use Typeset.
Fabiano started Men of Refuge as a men’s group to create meaningful connections in 2019 while working a corporate job. “It blew up locally, within two years there were 330 men,” Fabiano shared from St. Petersburg, “I was working 80 hours a week, getting paid for one of them, not getting paid for the other.”
The need for an eBook Designer to drive content
Fabiano left his full time job and expanded Men of Refuge to an online coaching and support group. “I wanted to write a dope ass eBook that was actually going to be helpful.” Fabiano wanted to ensure that his eBook matched both the appeal and aesthetic of his vision for this community. The result was The Resentment Trap, his first eBook. “It immediately put me in a different category—this individual is creating something and doing something good. Automatically people wanted to invest their time or money into it.”

Fabiano likes the simplicity of the platform. “I’m not a tech guy, so I needed something that was simple and user-friendly. I like the fact that I can turn [an ebook] into a course or social media if I want to.”

Digital content to expand his business
Ultimately, Fabiano thinks that Typeset’s AI designer gives him better content that helps his business. “I’m looking to create a community so men don’t have to do this for themselves. If you provide something of value, people are willing to give you their information, and this is all about relationships.”
